Jamie Foxx is on the mend, according to his family.
Corinne Foxx, Jamie’s daughter, took to Instagram on Friday to set the record straight about her father’s condition, disputing claims the family is preparing for the worst.
“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild,” Foxx said in an Instagram Story.
“My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday!” she added. “Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”
The 29-year-old then teased an “exciting work announcement” to be announced next week.

His daughter first shared the news on social media writing, “We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”
