Jared Leto has officially responded to fans who have said that he and reality star Scott Disick look like “identical” twins.
“Wow,” Leto, 51, said while appearing on Sirius XM’s TikTok Radio Friday. “Really? Lucky me.”
“Thank you,” the “Suicide Squad” actor added.
When asked by host Davis Burleson if he saw the resemblance, the “Morbius” star said he “didn’t know.”
“It’s hard when you look at yourself. But they do say that people who look alike actually share a lot of DNA, sometimes,” the Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman stated.
“You know, if there’s someone like, ‘Oh my god, you look exactly like this guy,’ you actually might be related somehow.”
“So that would be nice. Because then I would have a rich relative. Because he’s very wealthy, right? Yeah, that would be nice,” the actor joked.
While Leto and Disick, 40, have never met in person, the Oscar winner has been spotted hanging out with members of the Kardashian-Jenner family — including Disick’s ex, Kourtney Kardashian.
Earlier this month, Leto also made headlines when he scaled the top of New York’s Empire State Building — or 18 floors of it. The stunt was done to announce his band’s new “Seasons” tour.
“The building is a testament of all the things that can be done in the world if we put our minds to it,” the “Fight Club” star said. “Which is largely the inspiration behind our most recent album, ‘It’s the End of the World but It’s a Beautiful Day.’”
Leto, who has been spotted free-climbing buildings before, began his climb on the iconic Manhattan skyscraper’s 86th floor and clambered up to the landmark’s 104th floor.
He was the first person to ever legally climb to the top of the Empire State Building, according to building officials.
“I was more excited than nervous, to tell you the truth,” Leto said while on the “Today” show following the adventure. “But I have to be honest, it was very, very hard. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be.”
“Just the endurance that it took, the stamina that it took — and it was very sharp.”
Despite sustaining a small hand wound, Leto said the journey — which was also a bucket list item — was all worth it for the “incredible” experience.
“Ever since I was a kid, New York stood for the place that you went to make your dreams come true,” Leto gushed. “And as a young kid, I wanted to be an artist, and New York was the place that you came to be an artist. And the Empire State Building was always that symbol for me.”
The “Seasons” tour is set to kick off in March 2024 with some South American festival shows, followed by shows in Europe in April and then North America in July.
Leto and his friends will ultimately end the tour in Australia in September.
