Love is in the air in Puerto Rico, where newlyweds Kenny Pickett and wife Amy Paternoster are enjoying their romantic honeymoon.
The Steelers quarterback — who married Paternoster on June 24 — gave his Instagram followers a peek at the PDA-filled trip in new photos on Thursday, as the couple vacationed at the Ritz-Carlton Dorado Beach Resort.
“Honeymoon with the Mrs.,” the 25-year-old Pickett wrote in the caption.
The lovebirds were pictured lounging on a boat and sharing a kiss in front of a waterfall.
Other snaps showed Pickett and Paternoster exploring the Rockefeller estate, where the Ritz-Carlton reserve is tucked away on a private 50-acre landscape.
Pickett tied the knot with Paternoster, a Princeton University graduate and former collegiate soccer player, last month — nearly a year and a half after getting engaged.
They said “I do” at the glamorous Pleasantdale Château venue in New Jersey, sealing their union with a kiss under a pink and white flower arch.
The Steelers congratulated Pickett and Paternoster in a post on Instagram, which featured a photo of the excited couple right after they wed.
Paternoster, a Wall, New Jersey, native, earned a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton, according to her LinkedIn.
She currently works as a private equity associate in Pittsburgh, where Pickett was also under center at the University of Pittsburgh.
Paternoster, who got engaged to Pickett in January 2022, was by the quarterback’s side when he was selected 20th overall by the Steelers in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Though it’s unclear exactly how Pickett and Paternoster met, they made their relationship Instagram-official in April 2021.
The second-year quarterback is looking to build off of a solid NFL debut.
In his rookie year with the Steelers, Pickett appeared in 13 regular-season games, throwing for 2,404 yards, seven touchdowns and nine interceptions.
He also rushed for three touchdowns.
