Well wishes are for in order for the birthday princess, Kate Middleton.
The Duchess of Cambridge turned 42 on Tuesday and King Charles posted a throwback photo of her from his May 2023 coronation.
“Wishing The Princess of Wales a very happy birthday today!” the 75-year-old monarch penned on social media.
In the brand new snap, Middleton wore her gorgeous blue and red stain coronation robes and her sparkling diamond headpiece as she smiled at the sovereign.
The behind-the-scenes photo also had Prince Edward and his wife Sophie giggling alongside the royals.
Fans also sent sweet birthday messages to the duchess in the comments section.
“Happy birthday to Princess of Wales, may your day be amazing,” one person wrote alongside several red heart emojis.
“Aww what a beautiful picture! I love it,” another chimed in with hearts-for-eyes emojis. “Happy birthday to our amazing Princess of Wales!”
One person gushed, “Happy Birthday to HRH The Princess of Wales. May joy and God’s grace follow you always.”
According to the Daily Mail, Middleton will spend her birthday at home with her husband Prince William, 41, and their kids, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.
“They’ll be at Windsor as the children are just about to start back at school, so it will just be family. But to be honest, that’s just the way she likes it,” an insider said.
Westminster Abbey will also be ringing their bells in honor of her.
In the past, Middleton has celebrated her annual trip around the sun with her loved ones.
In 2021, she stayed at her country home Anmer Hall, in Norfolk, where she had a cute tea party with William, 41, and their kiddies.
Earlier this month, Middleton was seemingly left “heartbroken” after an “argument” with William over where to send George to high school.
William wants his oldest son to attend his alma Eton College when he turns 13 — but Middleton is none too happy about the idea.
An insider told In Touch Weekly that the princess does not want George to go to the all-boys boarding school.
“Kate thinks sending George to such a stuffy, upper-crust institution goes against all of their efforts to modernize the monarchy,” the source said.
They added that the Wales have “argued” almost endlessly about sending George to Eton.
“Kate long disagreed with her husband about sending him away, even though it’s tradition,” the source explained.
However, William “won” the argument, with his wife “finally giving in.”
