Kyle Brandt crushes 9-year-old son 100-0 in ‘Madden’: ‘Life isn’t easy’

NFL Network host Kyle Brandt does not appear to be a fan of participation trophies.

Brandt competed against his 9-year-old son in a good old fashioned game of “Madden” and absolutely trounced him, 100-0.

“Playing Madden with my 9-year old. Sometimes the boy needs to learn life isn’t easy,” Brandt tweeted Friday, adding an Eagles emoji.

Brandt then gave a tongue-in-cheek “postgame interview” during “Good Morning Football” on Friday.

Asked by host Jamie Erdahl if he had any regrets, Brandt only wished he had executed an even bigger blowout.

“I mean, I have enormous regret — my regret is I didn’t score 200 points on him,” Brandt deadpanned.

He joked that he covered the 99.5-point spread, and gave a shoutout to wideout DeVonta Smith who caught an astounding eight two-point conversions, including the one to give the Eagles triple-digits.

Brand, who also hosts a podcast produced by Omaha Productions for ESPN’s digital platforms, added he was “very proud of my guys” for accomplishing a Scorigami — a score never before seen in NFL history.

This blowout was perhaps Brandt’s most viral moment since last September, when he unleashed a biblical rant on the child car seat industry.

“If you want to see me turn into a bleeping werewolf, the most angry I will ever get …” Brandt said, bringing the temperature up.

“You got to put it in, and you got your knee down, and you PUSH, and then you go DON’T TALK TO ME, and then you have to BUCKLE IT. I have taken those things and thrown them across the LaGuardia parking garage.”

He wondered who has the strength to best endure these moments.

“I want to see who has the patience, the dexterity, the strategy — it’s so hard, and your child’s safety is at risk, so the stakes are really high,” Brandt continued.

“And your wife is just YELLING at you and being like, ‘Do you want me to do it?’”

Every parent has been there before.
