Lane Kiffin isn’t the only member of his family generating buzz.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, daughter Landry Kiffin recapped the “best time of the year” in a collection of new photos geotagged from Oxford, Miss., as speculation about her father’s future as head coach of the Rebels continues to swirl.
Landry — whose romance with star LSU linebacker Whit Weeks dominated headlines early in the college football season — gave followers a peek at her Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority’s Sapphire Ball, where she rocked a shimmery ice blue dress.

The post, which was shared two days after Ole Miss’ 34-24 win over the Gators, was met with comments centered on LSU and Florida, two high-profile coaching vacancies Landry’s dad has been linked to.
“Your [sic] gonna love Gainesville,” one Instagram user commented, while another said, “Tell Dad to pick LSU.”
Kiffin, 50, has become one of the buzziest names to board the college coaching carousel after LSU and Florida parted ways with coaches Brian Kelly and Billy Napier, respectively.

With the coaching searches underway, not to mention members of Kiffin’s family reportedly visiting Baton Rouge and Gainesville, it’s been speculated that Ole Miss has given its football coach an ultimatum on the future — a rumor Kiffin publicly denied Tuesday.
“Yeah, that’s absolutely not true,” Kiffin said on “The Pat McAfee Show.
“There has been no ultimatum, anything like that at all. I don’t know where that came from, like a lot of stuff that comes out there. … We’re having a blast. I love it here.”
Even with Kiffin’s focus on the 10-1 Rebels, ESPN reported Tuesday that university officials “are pressing” the coach and his agent, Jimmy Sexton, for clarity.
The No. 6-ranked Rebels next visit rival Mississippi State on Nov. 28, with a win likely locking up a spot in the College Football Playoff.
