LeBron James appears to have seismic news coming Tuesday amid retirement rumors.
The Los Angeles Lakers star, who’s entering his 23rd season and turning 41 in December, shared a video on social media saying that “The Second Decision” is coming on Oct. 7 at 12 p.m. ET.
“The decision of all decisions,” James wrote, including a saluting face and a crown emoji.

The video shows James walking to a chair, which is set up across from an unidentified man, while in the center of a basketball court.
It was a clear reference to his infamous “Decision,” when he sat across from Jim Gray at the Boys and Girls Club in Greenwich, Conn., on July 8, 2010 to announce he was leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers and taking his talents to South Beach, where he won two championships with the Heat alongside Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in 2012 and ’13.
James returned to Cleveland in 2014 and led them to the franchise’s first championship in 2016.
Additionally, James wore a red and white checkered button down, which is similar to the one he wore in 2010 for the first “decision.”

The four-time NBA champ, who’s the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, nearly broke the internet with the teaser, which racked up 8.5 million views in a few hours.
Fans launched their own guesses about what “The Second Decision” could be.
Some said it might be a teaser for an ad with Amazon, as Prime Day begins Tuesday and runs through Wednesday.
James previously starred in a Prime Day commercial, announcing Prime Day’s July deal dates.
That ad entitled “What’s next?” showed James at a press conference addressing retirement rumors.
James suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee in the Lakers’ 103-96 season-ending loss to Minnesota — and questions about his playing future inevitably followed.
James is rumored to want out of the Lakers after his agent, Rich Paul, released a statement regarding the 21-time All-Star accepting his $52.6 million player option.
“LeBron wants to compete for a championship,” Paul told ESPN in June. “He knows the Lakers are building for the future. He understands that, but he values a realistic chance of winning it all. We are very appreciative of the partnership that we’ve had for eight years with Jeanie [Buss] and Rob [Pelinka] and consider the Lakers as a critical part of his career.
“We understand the difficulty in winning now while preparing for the future. We do want to evaluate what’s best for LeBron at this stage in his life and career. He wants to make every season he has left count, and the Lakers understand that, are supportive and want what’s best for him.”
James has a no-trade clause in his contract.
In other James news, Wondery announced that his and Steve Nash’s NBA video podcast, “Mind The Game” will return for its third season on Wednesday.
