98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey needs his hotel furniture positioned at a certain angle.
“I learned that when we go to hotels, Nick likes to move the furniture,” Lachey’s wife, Vanessa, told E! News in a new interview.
“If the TV isn’t matched to the bed, he’ll move either the dresser with the TV, or if the TV’s mounted in the wall, then he’ll move the bed.”
Nick said it “drives him crazy” if the dresser isn’t “perfectly” parallel to the wall. Vanessa joked that she just “sits there” as he rearranges the room.
Vanessa, herself, has admitted to having “weird OCD habits.” She once told US Weekly that she likes “to fold my napkin three times, in a triangle, after I eat.”
She revealed to E! News her own unusual vacation habit.
“I don’t sleep with a comforter, so we pull them off,” she said. “I pull it down, and I fold it at the bottom of the bed, and I know I’m on vacation.”

Nick married Jessica Simpson in 2002. They split in 2005 after filming the “Newlyweds” reality show. He wed Vanessa Minnillo in 2011. They honeymooned across the Caribbean, where, presumably, there was a lot of furniture bumping.
