Matt Damon, his wife and other guests arrive in Georgia ahead of Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez’s wedding weekend

Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso travel to Georgia to see Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez tie the knot.

The couple, who took a private jet flight, reached the Peach State on Friday. Damon, who is a longtime friend of Affleck, was dressed in loose-fitting khaki pants and a black button-up revealing white T-shirt.

Barroso, 46, also sported a casual look as she was seen stepping down in a white jumpsuit with oversized sunglasses and animal-print sneakers.

Along with Damon, guests have started arriving to see Affleck and Jennifer Lopez says “I do” for the second time. A woman dressed in white was seen arriving at Affleck’s house by bus on Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday afternoon, a caterer also reached the wedding venue with a cake box.

It should come as no surprise that Damon, 51, will see Affleck and Lopez exchanging “I dos” as he previously opened up about his bond with the star.

These friends recently reunited on the sets of the untitled Nike film in June. The project will mark the first time Affleck has directed Damon in a film. However, this isn’t the first time Affleck and Damon have worked together.

The duo won Oscars for writing the screenplay for “Good Will Hunting”, in which they both appeared. Damon and Affleck also appeared on “The Last Duel” together in 2021.

Preparations for Affleck and Lopez’s wedding day went into full force on Saturday as several delivery trucks arrived at their 87-acre Georgia estate.

An air-conditioned porta potty also entered the wedding venue.

Affleck and Lopez are in the middle of their three-day wedding weekend, with the ceremony expected to take place on Saturday evening. The Weekend Wedding Bash began with a rehearsal dinner on Friday and will conclude with a barbecue on Sunday.

People have been working round the clock for the much-anticipated star-studded event, pitching white tents at Affleck’s property.

As staff members prepared for the lavish wedding, Fox News Digital learned that, during their stay, guests could be treated to yoga sessions and a spectacular fireworks show.

In the days before the wedding ceremony, workers were seen building an altar at the sprawling Georgia estate. The luxurious wedding venue is located on Hampton Island overlooking the Newport River.

According to the Daily Mail, the wedding is reportedly worth over $400,000. Life coach and former monk Jay Shetty will attend Affleck and Lopez’s weekend wedding ceremony.

The wedding weekend had a rocky start as an ambulance was seen leaving the property on Friday, hours before the wedding festivities.

Who was taken to the district hospital or for what reason it is not confirmed. The Daily Mail reported that it was Affleck’s mother who was taken to hospital via ambulance.

The outlet shared that her mother, Christopher Anne Bold, fell off a dock, injuring her leg and needed stitches. Images from the outlet showed Boldt in a wheelchair outside a hospital.
