Greg Olsen may not be adding fashion influencer to his resume any time soon.
Olsen, the lead NFL analyst for Fox Sports, was likened to a car salesman Sunday by fans over his “horrendous” on-air look —a dark jacket with a criss-cross pattern that was paired with a light blue button-up and red tie — while calling the Ravens’ 38-6 win over the Lions.
“Greg Olsen’s jacket is horrendous,” Barstool’s Steven Cheah wrote on X.
PFT Commenter also quipped, “Greg olsen will sell you the worst car youve ever seen.”
A separate user responded to that comparison, “But he’ll throw in all the weather floor mats for free.”
In a video circulating on X, Dan “Big Cat” Katz remarked of Olsen’s look, “He took a risk, it didn’t work.”
Though Olsen’s style was also likened to a “sliced-up couch” that was draped “on his shoulders like a cape” by PFT Commenter, Big Cat explained their opinions are simply coming from the heart.
“You have to tell your friend when he wears something that’s so embarrassing you wonder if he should have the job anymore,” Big Cat said of Olsen, who has been a guest on the duo’s podcast.
“You have to say these things. Burn that coat and whoever told you that was a good coat — unless it’s your wife, then I take all this back — but I think it was some new-age fashion guy tried to tell him this.”
The “Pardon My Take” hosts also commented on Olsen’s mannequin-like good looks.
“I actually like the fact that Greg Olsen is wearing terrible clothes on TV,” PFT Commenter said. “Otherwise it’s not fair.”
Big Cat then left Olsen with some advice.
“Burn the coat. Burn whoever gave you the coat. Start over,” he said.
It remains to be seen if and when Olsen, 38, will weigh in on the divisive piece of his wardrobe.
