Fans of “Big Little Lies” can rejoice — star Nicole Kidman said that Season 3 of the hit HBO series is kicking into high gear.

“We’re at work on it,” Kidman, 56, told Variety Sunday night at the premiere of her new Prime Video series, “Expats.”

Kidman said she and “Big Little Lies” co-star Reese Witherspoon are “texting every day … And there’s a timeline and we’re doing it.

“We can’t say anything more,” she added. “We’ve got to start keeping our mouths shut … We’ve got to button it.”

This is not the first time that Kidman has mentioned a third season.

In November 2023, she said casually at the CME Group Tour Championship: “I loved ‘Big Little Lies.’ We will be briging you a third one, just FYI.”

Witherspoon, 47, recently confirmed that Season 3 of “Big Little Lies” was a go, echoing Kidman’s statements.

“We are working on it,” she told Variety during the Golden Globes pre-show.

“Nic and I have been working on it a lot.”

HBO and Max content chairman/CEO Casey Bloys told Variety that he heard “a little bit about the idea,” and that Witherspoon and Kidman have been in touch with “Big Little Lies” author Liane Moriarty. He also said he expects series creator David E. Kelley to be involved in some capacity.

In November 2022, however, co-star Zoë Kravitz said that the series was “unfortunately done” after the death of director and executive producer Jean-Marc Vallée.

“We talked about doing a season 3 a lot,” Kravitz said in a GQ video interview at the time. “Unfortunately, Jean-Marc Vallée, our incredible director, passed away this last year. It’s heartbreaking.”

She continued, “I can’t imagine going on without him. He really was the visionary for that show. Unfortunately, it’s done.” Vallée died of a heart attack at his cabin outside Quebec City, Canada, in December 2021. He was 58.

Season 1 of “Big Little Lies” premiered in February 2017 and revolved around a murder in the upscale community of Monterey on the California coast.

Kidman played Celeste Wright, whose abusive husband, Perry (Alexander Skarsgard), was killed.

Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern and Kravitz played friends Madeline Mackenzie, Jane Chapman, Renata Klein and Bonnie Carlson.

“Young Sheldon” star Iain Armitage played Jane’s young son, Ziggy. The cast also included James Tupper, Jeffrey Nordling and Adam Scott.

Season 1 garnered five Emmy Awards for Kidman, Dern, Skarsgard, director Jean-Mark Vallee and a statuette as Outstanding Limited Series.

Season 2 of “Big Little Lies,” which picked up in the aftermath of the murder investigation — and featured Meryl Streep — premiered in July 2019.

It was not nominated for any Emmys in 2019 since its airdate fell outside of the eligibility period.

Season 2 did receive five Emmy nominations in 2020, including nods for Dern and Streep, but did not win any awards.

It is unclear, at this point, if “Ferrari” star Woodley will return for Season 3, but she told Harper’s Bazaar in December that a third season could bring back the actors who played the friends’ children.

“These children [on the show] are not children anymore,” she explained. “What does life look like for those people who are not children anymore?”
