Patrick Mahomes can cross this one off the bucket list.
The Chiefs quarterback revealed Wednesday he finally met music megastar Taylor Swift, who is in a budding romance with Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce.
Mahomes and Swift crossed paths at a post-game party Sunday night at a Kansas City restaurant — Prime Social — that Kelce bought out to host Swift and others.
“I met her, she was really cool,” Mahomes said. “Good people.”
Mahomes, though, made it clear he’s not going to be offering up much on the pair moving forward.
“Like Trav said, man, I’m gonna let them have their privacy and keep it moving,” Mahomes said.
Mahomes is an MVP-winning quarterback, but even celebrities have other famous people they would like to meet.
He was seen on the sidelines waving to Swift during the blowout victory.
The two-time Super Bowl winner said after Sunday’s game he hoped to cross paths with the Grammy Award-winning musical star.
“She’s a pop star. She’s a tremendous singer, tremendous at everything she does and I haven’t got to meet her but I guess, if she ends up being with Travis, I’ll probably get to meet her at some point,” Mahomes said after the 41-10 win over the Bears. “Seems like a good person, so hopefully I get to meet her one day.”
Mahomes gave Swift plenty of reason to celebrate last Sunday when she watched Kelce and the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

The quarterback found Kelce for a third-quarter touchdown, which elicited a joyous celebration from the singer.
“I heard she was in the house,” Mahomes told Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews after the game. “I felt a little bit of pressure and so I knew I had to get it to Trav.”
Mahomes added: “I think he wanted to get in the end zone just as much as all the Swifties wanted him to.”
The Swift and Kelce show is coming to East Rutherford, N.J. in Week 4 when the Chiefs face the Jets at MetLife Stadium on “Sunday Night Football” with Swift expected to be in attendance.
