Safe to say Dustin Johnson wasn’t tuning into the PGA Tour-LIV Golf Senate hearings on Tuesday.
Fresh off his team’s win at the rebel circuit’s London event this past weekend, in which his 4Aces GC squad of Patrick Reed, Pat Perez and Peter Uihlein placed first, Johnson and wife Paulina Gretzky are living it up on a summer getaway with friends.
In a series of Instagram Stories posted Tuesday to Gretzky’s page, the couple — who celebrated their first wedding anniversary in April — can be seen pumping their fists as a giant bottle of Cristal champagne arrives at their table.
In a separate post, the 34-year-old Gretzky can be seen smiling aboard a boat while modeling a black and white ensemble.
Johnson, 39, also grinned next to Gretzky in a different pic as they took in the dreamy views.
Elsewhere on social media, Johnson can be seen doing backflips off of a yacht in a separate video currently making the rounds.
It’s been a dizzying few weeks in the golf community following the bombshell news of an impending merger between the PGA Tour and its LIV Golf rival, which was first reported in June.
Johnson, a two-time major winner, was the first big name to defect from the PGA Tour last summer and was paid around $125 million to join the Saudi-backed circuit.
The former Masters champion earned over $35 million in winnings in his first year with LIV.
Johnson recently remarked how he is “excited for the future” and is “happy exactly” where he is.
“I think with this agreement, the only thing that’s going to happen is LIV is going to get even better than what it is now, which it’s already great,” Johnson said last month, according to Sports Illustrated.
“I’m happy exactly where I am, and I’m definitely not looking to play more golf than I’m playing now, that’s for sure.”
LIV contests take place over the course of three days and there are 14 events listed on this year’s schedule.
The circuit travels to Greenbrier, West Virginia, next month.
Gretzky, the daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, frequently supports Johnson at LIV events.
They share two young sons, Tatum and River.
