Prince Harry, Meghan Markle finally vacate Frogmore Cottage after King Charles eviction

It’s officially goodbye to Buckingham Palace.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been living in the US since 2020, however, they have finally vacated their digs in the United Kingdom for good.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially moved out of their British residence, Frogmore Cottage, on Wednesday.

The rest of the duo’s items that had been left at the Windsor abode have finally been sent back to their Montecito, California home.

Sir Michael Stevens — the Keeper of the Privy Purse, who handles the finances for the royal family — confirmed the news yesterday that the two vacated the property.

The move comes just a few months after Harry, 38, and Markle, 41, were evicted from the cottage by King Charles.

The Invictus Games founder and the former actress now no longer have a place to stay when they visit the U.K. and will have to cough up the dough for a hotel instead.

The Post has reached out to Harry and Markles’ reps for comment.

A source told Page Six in March that the monarch, 74, was thinking of giving Frogmore to his brother, Prince Andrew.

There is also no word yet if Andrew, 63, will move into the now-empty bungalow.

The five-bedroom home sits just several miles from the Duke of York’s longtime place, the Royal Lodge.

Andrew has been adamant about staying at the luxurious 30-room lodge, where he has lived since 2002 with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.

“This eviction surely spells the end of Harry and Meghan’s time in the UK,” an insider told the Sun earlier this year.

“Andrew is resisting the idea of moving into Frogmore Cottage after he was offered it last week,” they added. “But it shows Harry and Meghan are powerless to stop the eviction.”

Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton could be next in line to move into the Royal Lodge if Andrew leaves.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge currently reside at their home, Adelaide Cottage, at Windsor, despite it being “too small” for their family of five.

A source told OK! magazine recently that the clan has agreed to stay living at the cottage, even though they have been contemplating taking over Andrew’s residence in the past.

“[Buckingham Palace] originally wanted Andrew out of Royal Lodge so that the property could be renovated and prepared for new lodgers,” the insider explained.

“The Prince and Princess of Wales desperately want a larger property for their family in the Windsor area and discussions were originally focused on putting them in there,” they said.
