Prince Harry is expected to pick up the phone and call his estranged father, King Charles, on the monarch’s 75th birthday on Tuesday.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, will reportedly end the long streak of no communication between the two camps to wish his father a happy birthday, a “well placed” source told the BBC.

Charles will be spending his birthday busy with several work engagements, but at some point in the afternoon, Montecito will be calling his phone.

Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are famously not attending the King’s birthday celebrations later today — and have said there’s been “no contact” “no contact” from the royals about the fête.

Charles’s birthday will be marked by gun salutes across the capital, while the King himself will be busy launching the Coronation Food Project with his wife, Queen Camilla.

The monarch and his wife will be visiting food banks in and around London, before hosting a Buckingham Palace reception for healthcare workers later in the day.

On Monday, His Majesty kicked off his birthday festivities by joining other 75-year-olds in a tea dance organized by The Prince’s Trust at Highgrove House, one of the monarch’s official royal residences.

Later on Tuesday evening, the King’s close family and friends – including Prince William, 41, Kate Middleton, 41, and Queen Camilla, 76 – will gather to mark his special day.

It comes after royal expert and commentator Richard Fitzwilliams claimed that Harry simply “doesn’t care” about not being invited to his dad’s birthday bash.

And it seems as there’s no love lost between the two, as royal commentator Neal Sean said that Charles is “relieved” that the Sussexes are not in London to ring in his 75th birthday.

“Let’s be very clear, most senior members of the British monarchy are more than relieved by the news that the two former royals known as Harry and Meghan are simply not going to be returning for the birthday celebrations of his Majesty, The King,” Sean told Fox News.

“The simple fact is, this news was a problem, but more importantly, who needs victims at a family celebration?”

“This is the dilemma that faces most of the senior members of the family… while His Majesty, the King, would very much like to reconcile with his son, this is a bigger issue,” he added.

It’s been said that it would “take years” for Harry and the royals to reconcile, as experts have hinted that the Firm no longer trusts the Sussexes and their intentions.
