Prince William partners with YouTube — after Harry’s deal with Netflix

The battle of the brothers wages on.

Prince William is rivaling younger sibling Prince Harry with a new streaming deal with YouTube.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, had previously signed a contract with Netflix to produce projects and now his brother, 40, has his own transaction in the works.

The Prince of Wales’ environmental charity, the Earthshot Prize, has partnered with YouTube for campaigns, events and creator collabs that will bring more awareness to the global climate crisis.

The two-year partnership will unite the Earthshot Prize and the video platform to create content to inspire users to take action against climate change.

The alliance will also help grow the Earthshot Prize YouTube channel.

Types of content that will be featured on the website include mini-documentaries, Q&As and YouTube Shorts, as well as collaborations with influencers.

“At the Earthshot Prize we want to incentivize innovation and change to help repair our planet and partnering with YouTube, one of the world’s biggest platforms, allows us to do that on a truly global scale,” the organization’s CEO Hannah Jones said in a statement.

“We look forward to collaborating on exciting content that will inspire urgent optimism and action and help audiences better understand the climate challenges we face,” she added.

William unveiled the Earthshot Prize initiative in 2020 as a way to motivate others to repair and regenerate the planet.

The Duke of Cambridge and his wife, Kate Middleton, 41, jetted off to the United States last December to attend the lavish Earthshot Prize ceremony at the MGM Music Hall in Boston, Massachusetts.

Singers like Billie Eilish, Annie Lennox, Ellie Goulding and Chloe x Halle performed at the party.

It was the royal couple’s first trip to America since 2014.

As for Harry, he and wife Meghan Markle’s Netflix agreement earned them $100 million.

As part of the deal, they dropped their series “Harry & Meghan” in December and are set to also produce works such as documentaries, films, children’s shows and more.

The Mirror divulged on May 23 that the former actress, 41, and the Invictus Games founder could be developing a film inspired by their time living in England. The pair moved to Montecito, California, in 2020 after taking a step back from the royal family.

However, the Sussexes’ rep denied the report when contacted by The Post.
