The end is almost here for fans of “The Crown.”

The sixth and final season will debut in two parts later this year on Netflix and the first slice’s full-length trailer has finally dropped.

Of course, the central focus of the last few episodes is the untimely death of Princess Diana (Elizabeth Debicki), the chaotic aftermath and its effect on the royal family for years to come.

“I don’t understand how I ended up here,” a sad Diana sighs.

“Dashing around and loosing sight of myself in the process. That has been the story of my whole life,” she says in a voiceover.

Over haunting music, the Princess of Wales’ passing in a Parisian car crash in 1997 casts a dark shadow over the teaser, as other characters ponder what the future holds following the tragic accident.

“All one wants is for that girl to find peace,” a tired-looking Queen Elizabeth (Imelda Staunton) exhales to other members of her family.

In another scene, the monarch softly tells Diana: “You finally succeeded in turning this house upside down. It’s a revolution.”

But Diana replies simply: “That was never my intention.”

There are then flashes of the after effects of the crash that killed Diana and her boyfriend at the time Dodi Fayed (Khalid Abdalla). There is also a focus on how the media skewers the family over staying silent after the tragedy.

“What do people want from me?” the Queen sternly ponders to her son, Prince Charles (Dominic West) following the event.

He fires back: “FOR YOU TO BE THE MOTHER OF THE NATION!”

Tension continues to rise within the Firm, slowly cracking the foundation of the House of Windsor and their dynasty.

“You’ve seen the images on the television. Diana gave people what they needed and the world adored her for it,” Charles laments to his mother.

“This will be the biggest thing that any of us has ever seen,” he went on, probably referring to Diana’s funeral that took place days after her death that brought together billions of mourners.

Among the other significant royal scenes spotlighted in trailer are Diana’s famous walk through a landmine, a shot of Dodi’s ailing father Mohammed al-Fayed sobbing over his son and glimpses of a young Prince Harry and Prince William at their vacation home in Balmoral, Scotland.

The first four episodes of the concluding season will air on Nov. 16 and the remaining ones will debut on Dec. 14.

This season will cover the time period from 1997 through 2005 — with prominent events such as Charles and wife Queen Camilla’s wedding, as well as William meeting future wife Kate Middleton at St. Andrews University.

Other returning cast members from last year’s season five, include Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret and Olivia Williams as Camilla.

The topic of whether or not Diana’s passing would even be presented in the show has also been the subject of much debate.

Executive producers Andy Harries and Suzanne Mackie claimed in August that they filmed the passing of Diana with “enormous sensitivity.”

“The show might be big and noisy, but we’re not. We’re thoughtful people and we’re sensitive people. There were very careful, long conversations about how we were going to do it,” Mackie explained at the Edinburgh TV Festival. “The audience will judge it in the end, but I think it’s been delicately, thoughtfully recreated.”
