Come on, Barbie, let’s go party.
So the old tune goes. But for too long, Barbie fans (children) were barred from playing with Barbie in her world-famous Dreamhouse for a simple yet devastating reason: children have no money.
Worse still, parents and guardians of those very same children, who do have money, often still couldn’t spare almost $350 for the Barbie Dreamhouse playset, complete with over 75 accessories and wheelchair accessibility.
Thankfully, The Post is happy to report that our long national nightmare is over today. With the holidays (not to mention Black Friday and Cyber Monday) just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about big-ticket presents.
Enter: Amazon, no stranger to the gift-giving game, who have discounted the Barbie Dreamhouse by almost 50%, or just over $150, to $189.
The Barbie Dreamhouse is three stories tall, measuring 43 inches high and 41 inches wide. The set offers five separate rooms, a roof deck, a working elevator, a slide and a pool. One thing is clear: Barbie does not live in New York.
Sound effects and lighting options make the Dreamhouse an immersive experience. The set also has over 75 storytelling pieces, including a DJ booth, grill, and pets. Barbie’s living large, and this Christmas, so can you.
