Tiki Barber isn’t convinced.

For Zach Wilson to successfully take flight, Barber said he believes the embattled quarterback has to get over his fear of failure first.

When discussing the newly reinstated Jets starter on Wednesday, the Giants great opined that Wilson’s trepidation has “held him back” for much of his three-year career in New York.

“The thing that’s held him back really for the entirety of his career is his inability to take risk. He fears failure,” Barber, now a host on WFAN, said.

“That’s what happens when you’ve been given things in life, and you don’t know how to deal with failure. Failure is the most important thing that anybody can experience. You suck for a little while, guess what, you figure out how not to suck, otherwise, you’re not doing it. Zach is terrified of failing, he’s terrified of disappointing his team.

“… He wants to be loved, but the only way to be loved is to fail and succeed. He’s terrified of it.”

It comes after Barber suggested the Jets “cut his ass” after a report Wilson was reluctant to return as Jets starter.

Wilson, after Jets coach Robert Saleh reinstated him as starter, said there was no truth to those allegations and that he “would do anything” for his teammates.

Since receiving the keys to the kingdom as the Jets’ second overall pick in 2021, it’s been a rocky tenure for Wilson, who has been benched two years in a row.

The former BYU product — who took over for an injured Aaron Rodgers in Week 1 despite preparing for the season as his understudy — was replaced by journeyman Tim Boyle in late November as the Jets hoped to find an offensive spark.

Boyle was then relieved by Trevor Siemian on Sunday, a 13-8 loss to the Falcons.

“I love the guys in this locker room, and I would do anything. And I think anytime you have an opportunity to step on this field, you need to take advantage of it,” he said.

The 24-year-old Wilson, who has thrown for six touchdowns and seven interceptions this year, plans to take a fresher approach under center.

“I’m gonna have more fun,” Wilson said.

The Jets (4-8) and Texans (7-5) will kick off at 1 p.m. on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
