A blast from Jordan Poole’s past had a front-row seat to the Warriors’ Game 2 win over the Lakers in their Western Conference semifinals series Thursday night.
With Zendaya checking out the action from Chase Center in San Francisco, fans immediately took to social media to express excitement over the sighting — all the while hyping up Golden State guard Poole, who once asked out the 26-year-old superstar via Instagram.
“When Jordan Poole sees Zendaya at the game he’s dropping 50 points,” one fan tweeted.
Another exclaimed “Jordan Poole, it’s time! Zendaya is in the house.”
“Once Jordan Poole locks eyes with Zendaya its over,” a viewer expressed.
However, despite logging 21 points Tuesday in the Warriors’ Game 1 loss, Poole put up only six points Thursday in Golden State’s 127-100 victory over Los Angeles.
The series, now tied at 1-1, will head to Los Angeles for Game 3 on Saturday followed by Game 4 on Monday.
The 23-year-old Poole, who is currently in his fourth season with Golden State, has averaged 20.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists this year.
When he entered the NBA in 2019, the former Michigan product didn’t waste time shooting his shot with Zendaya.
At the time, Poole pressed teammate Klay Thompson — who had been linked to actress Laura Harrier — about a double date with the “Dune” star.
Unfortunately for Poole, Zendaya is off the market as she is dating her “Spider-Man” co-star, Tom Holland.
Page Six broke the news in July 2021 that the co-stars are an item after they were spotted kissing in a car.
The 26-year-old Holland joined Zendaya Thursday for their playoff date night.
