It’s a dance party fit for royalty – well, kind of.
In a new series of images rendered by artificial intelligence, the late Queen Elizabeth II is seen breaking it down on the dance floor and even DJing to a crowd of ravers.
In one of the striking portrayals, the queen is seen wearing a robin’s-egg blue skirt-suit with a huge pair of headphones over her ears as she stands in front of a DJ set-up. She even has one of her hands thrown up into a peace sign.
Her majesty is also pictured getting down on the dance floor wearing a glittering, gold-sequined pantsuit, complete with her signature coiffed hairstyle.
Another one of the astonishing images shows her in a Pepto Bismol pink pantsuit and a matching flowered hat dancing on a sidewalk – in an uncanny resemblance to her majesty.
The images show Elizabeth in all different stages of her life – both when she was younger and towards the end of her years – which reflective in the photo’s surroundings.
One picture shows a younger monarch wearing a stack of pearl necklaces and a sleeveless, sequined tank dress as she spins a DJ set that looks like it’s straight out of the 1970’s or 80’s.
The images were created by Luca Allievi, 33, an Italian biotechnologist from Milan, reported South West News Service.
He manufactured them with the help of his wife, named Anna, using a software called Midjourney to generate the images of the late queen, who passed away in September at age 96.
“The images are really realistic,” Allievi said, according to SWNS. “You need to use the right words in the prompt.”
Midjourney is a platform that makes artificial intelligence images based on prompts from users.
Allievi revealed that what was the most important in creating these photos was making sure that the order of the words that he inputted were both correct and specific.
“The order of the words is important,” he said, according to SWNS.
“You have to describe the person and adjust the prompts as the software evolves. It’s evolving so fast.”
Now, although these images seem like she’s been put in quite an unusual situation for a Queen, she did once admit to partying alongside her royal subjects at the age of 19 with her sister, Princess Margaret, to celebrate the end of World War II, according to Smithsonian Magazine.
With a 16-person entourage, she wore her Auxiliary Territorial Service uniform to avoid being recognized by those who were celebrating on the streets of England.
But Queen Elizabeth isn’t the first public figure to be pictured in some AI images – earlier this year, a picture of Pope Francis wearing a trendy, white puffer coat by the luxe brand Balenciaga was generated using Midjourney.
The photo later went viral, fooling many people around the world.
Buzzfeed News identified the alleged artificial intelligence artist as Pablo Xavier, a 31-year-old construction worker from the Chicago area who claimed to be “tripping on shrooms” when he came up with the idea for the photos.
In recent months, artificial intelligence-generated art has been making a splash, but they’re not always perfect, like these party photos made by one Twitter user that look eerily real until you take a closer peek.
Although the images look legit at a glance, some of the party-goers are missing key body parts.
