Jamie Foxx’s family remains by his side as he recovers from an unknown “medical complication” at a physical rehab center in Chicago.
New photos released Thursday show Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, 29, hugging her boyfriend, Joseph Hooten, as she left the unidentified facility with her friends and family on Sunday, May 14.
Foxx’s 13-year-old daughter, Annalise Bishop, and her mom, Kristin Grannis, were also spotted outside of the facility.
The teen brought a guitar along while Grannis was pictured holding onto a bouquet of flowers and a Mother’s Day balloon.
TMZ previously reported that a source told them that Foxx, 55, had been in the facility — which reportedly specializes in stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and cancer rehabilitation — since late April.
Hooten and Corinne Foxx were spied together in Chicago.
Their appearance comes after the “Django Unchained” star spent nearly a month in a Georgia hospital starting in mid-April.
Prior to that, he was filming the comedic thriller “Back in Action” with actress Cameron Diaz.
While Foxx and his family have not publicly announced what type of medical complication he’s dealing with, his comedian pal Kevin Hart claimed on the “Impulsive” podcast that he was on the mend.
“I think the dope thing is that he’s getting better in his situation,” Hart told host Jake Paul. “Everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy, all that stuff is seen and felt. So in this case, man, you just want the guy to get out of the situation he’s in and get back home.”
“To my knowledge, there is a lot of progression,” Hart added. “My love, synergy, energy goes out to him. He’s needed. He’s necessary. I know that he knows that.”
Corinne also denied a rumor last week that Foxx’s loved ones were “preparing for the worst.”
“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild,” she said in an Instagram story.
“My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday!” Corinne added. “Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”
On Monday, the Fox network announced that Corinne and her dad are planning to host a new game show titled “We Are Family,” which is set to premiere sometime in 2024.
Meanwhile, Nick Cannon has stepped in to host “Beat Shazam” while Foxx recovers.
