Exclusive | ‘Queen & Slim’ star allegedly funded firearms, sex parties and a drug trafficking operation: suit

British actress Jodie Turner-Smith is accused of funding her convicted felon brother’s drug use, sex parties, and across state lines narcotics purchases, according to a new lawsuit.

The “Queen & Slim” and “True Blood” star is named alongside her brother, Richard Mark Anthony Smith, in the explosive court documents filed in Los Angeles by three Jane Doe’s accusing Smith of cocaine use, drug sales, abusive group sex, and possessing illegal firearms.

Turner-Smith knew about the drug operation, used cocaine with her brother and helped pay for a new supply of narcotics for the enterprise run from a luxury Hollywood apartment funded by the actress, according to the documents.

The three Jane Doe victims say in the suit they are traumatized, and suffering from physical and psychological injury as a result of their interactions with Richard. 

A rep for Turner-Smith did not respond to the California Post’s request for comment.

Jane Doe 2 claims she met Richard in 2023 at an after hours party in LA where Smith provided her with drugs, “trays of cocaine were present”, the papers say. 

The two engaged in a sexual relationship that eventually became “unhealthy” and “controlling”, according to the lawsuit.

Doe 2 alleges that Richard pressured her to take drugs and have non consensual sex. Richard “referred to her as his white slave and described himself as her master”, the papers say.

It goes on to say Richard would strip her naked and confine her in a walk-in closet. She was also forced to “engage in sexual intercourse with Smith and multiple other men,” according to the lawsuit.

Richard’s children were present at times during the illicit activities at a 1555 Vine Street residence, the papers say.

Doe 3 also said she didn’t feel safe in the Hollywood residence after he offered her housing in exchange for sex, the suit states.

She claims he pressured her to sell drugs and “forced sexual activity involving himself and a roommate.”

Doe 1 says he visited Richard’s posh residence after “he presented himself as a financially successful and independent man” and that had access to a penthouse and pool, according to the lawsuit.

Upon arriving she encountered narcotics, firearms and other weapons, and sexual activity, the papers read.

“Jane Doe 1 alleges that Smith and an individual known as EJ entered the bedroom, locked the door and attempted to engage her in unwanted sexual conduct, including an attempted encounter involving multiple participants,” the suit says.

All the Doe’s say Smith made comments about his famous sister, who starred earlier this year in the Taylor Swift video “Opalite.”

“I used to take care of her, now she takes care of me. She pays all my bills,” the papers say.

They go one to say that Turner-Smith gifted her brother “an Audi that was used to transport packages to USPS that allegedly contained narcotics transported across state lines”

When asked by Doe 2 if his sister knew about the operation Smith responded, ”she knew, and allegedly stated Turner Smith used cocaine with him and helped pay for a new supply of narcotics,” according to the lawsuit. 

The women admit in the papers that Smith’s comments were strictly his and “expressly distinguishing it from an assertion that Turner-Smith herself has admitted those facts.”

They go on to say: “If discovery confirms Turner-Smith’s knowledge and continued assistance,” Turner-Smith is “liable based on specific acts, omissions, knowledge, assistance, resources, and property related conduct.”

They are seeking damages, medical expenses and other costs along with a jury trial. Turner-Smith’s representative was contacted for comment.

The papers state that Smith is a convicted felon, although it’s unclear what charges were brought against the accused.
