Formerly full-time OnlyFans model Dasha Daley says she feels more fulfilled working 9-to-5 now than she ever while creating erotic content on the subscriber-based adult site.
The 30-something from Perth, Australia had transitioned her career to OnlyFans just two years ago, making good money and being her own boss. But Daley said she found being self-employed “lonely and boring.”
“It’s day one at a real job after being a spicy content creator for two years,” she said in a TikTok video to her fans on Thursday, alluding to a new gig.
“And after a 10-hour shift, I’m honestly really tired, but I just feel so fulfilled that I’ve got a normal job again and I’ve actually worked,” she admitted.
While Daley didn’t declare what type of job or in what industry she works, she did say that she feels “so much better than sitting at home all day and doing the content creation.”
“I’d rather just have a real job and actually feel like I’ve got a purpose helping in society,” she explained.
But she hasn’t completely sworn off OnlyFans, continuing to make content on the side at times when she needs some extra cash.
The Post has contacted Daley for comment.
Daley had previously discussed the challenges of leaving sex work and reentering the mainstream workforce, asking other users for advice on how to explain the two-year gap on her résumé.
“I have been applying for jobs and no luck so far. And when I do get an interview, hopefully someday, I’m not sure how I’m going to explain what I’ve been doing this whole time,” she said in a video earlier this month.
“But if anyone’s got any tips on what I can do in this instance, and where I should look, please let me know because once you’re out, it’s really hard to get back in the society and try to find a real job,” Daley lamented.
Viewers provided several excuses for Daley to tell future employers, including that she was studying, traveling or living off her savings in recent times.
Meanwhile, another Australian OnlyFans model may want to consider leaving the industry after recently discovering that her stepdad was her “number one customer.”
