It’s curtains for these trolls.
An interior decorator named Karissa Barker is hitting back at a troll who called her home “tacky” — and declaring that it’s all “subjective” in a resurfaced video on TikTok.
She responded to a comment that read, “This is what poor people say to make themselves feel better. Tacky homes are a thing. You can’t wish it away 😂.”
Barker — who often posts home decor, organization and DIY tips on her social media accounts — reached more than 86,900 views with the 12-second clip.
In response, she showed off the different rooms and details in her house – which included a neutral-colored stonewall fireplace, a cozy reading nook with plenty of books on the shelves and a framed needlepoint apron in her laundry room on top of floral wallpaper.
“It’s not often that I get ‘poor’ and ‘tacky’ in the same comment, so I’m gonna pass this one off to Dolly,” she said in the video, quoting country singer Parton, who once said, “It costs a lot [of money] to look this cheap.”
She added in the caption of the video, writing, “Dolly’s got this one 😉. Also ‘tacky’ is a completely subjective term and I will die on that hill.”
In a statement to The Post on Tuesday evening, Barker explained that she would describe her interior design style as “transitional meets rustic.”
“I center a lot of decor around pieces I inherited from my grandmother, and coziness and warmth, which is what I want people to feel when they walk into my home,” Barker explained.
In the video, the interior decorator also shared clips of her dining room, which featured a stone floor and a large brown table, as well as her kitchen, which was clad with marble countertops.
The creator added that she has been into decorating her whole life, as her dad was a builder growing up.
She recalls redecorating and rearranging her room every week while she was in elementary school.
In the comments, many users seemed to agree with Barker’s sentiments about not living in a “tacky” home – with one person even suggesting that the troll was “reaching.”
‘Tacky’ C’mon…,” they wrote. “They’re reaaally reaching..”
“Um, ma’am, your home us gorgeous,” someone else offered.
Another agreed: “Your home is gorgeous. I feel like it’s the perfect combo of styles and it’s very inviting!!”
But haters aside, Barker is letting it all roll off her shoulders.
“I don’t have anything to say to people who don’t like my design style,” she told The Post.
“I really hope that my content inspires people to design their homes and their lives for them — as I have said often, we are the only people who live in and pay for our homes, so we get to decide what is beautiful and functional in them,” she continued. “Therefore, there’s no such thing as tacky!”
She also admitted that she’s had people call her decor style much worse things than just “tacky” – and even alleged that an HGTV star once “bashed” her home remodel.
“We can’t let the opinions of others (especially strangers) dictate the way we design our home or the way we run our household,” Barker told The Post.
“That’s an empty way to live, like chasing after the wind. I hope that people can feel the freedom to design and run their household in the way that works for them through my content.”
Barker isn’t the only one who had had to defend herself over the decor choices on the social media app, either – in March, one UK woman caught some heat after she painted her carpet black.
Some thought that it looked “smoke damaged” instead of, well, chic.
The TikTok user alleged that it only took one hour to complete the paint job – and cost less than $25.
