I wore a white gown to a friend’s wedding — trolls say I’m ‘psycho’

This wedding guest’s white dress has the bride seeing red.

Moments before walking down the aisle at her “Super Mario”-themed fête in Malibu, a blushing bride-to-be became “extremely upset” after discovering that a female friend of her groom wore a white gown to their nuptials. 

But social media skeptics are divided over whether the gutsy guest in all white or the bride herself is to blame for the fashion faux pas. 

“This girl wore a legit white dress to my friend’s wedding,” ranted Miami-based whistleblower Kristina Drobach, 28, in her deleted-then-reposted TikTok exposé. 

The original clip — which Drobach removed but re-shared Tuesday — raked up more than 20 million TikTok views. 

The viral footage featured the alleged dress code culprit, a married mother of four named Lana Kaufman, from Texas, donning a milky-hued, two-piece frock with puffy sleeves, slightly exposed midriff and mid-thigh slits by Ukrainian fashion house Gasanova. 

Neither Kristina Drobach nor Lana Kaufman immediately responded to The Post’s request for comment. 

Under the trending TikTok hashtag #GirlInTheWhiteDress, topping 537,000 views, digital finger-waggers ferociously blasted Kaufman for rocking the bridal-esque regalia, calling the look “disrespectful” and “an attention-grab.”

The online contempt eerily echoed the shade received by a pair of wedding guests who notably made bride Sisi Lozada “sad” when they wore the sacred color to her April 2023 vow exchange. It was reminiscent, too, of the hellfire earned by a “creepy” mother-of-the-groom, who shamelessly stunned in a white show-stopper to her son’s “I do” in November 2022.

In the case of Kaufman’s big day blunder, Drobach said all eyes were on the wrongfully-presumed bride.

In a subsequent “story time” video, Drobach explained that Kaufman’s eye-catching ensemble garnered the attention of the entire wedding venue, causing some folks to mistake her for the woman of the hour. 

“Everybody was talking about the lady wearing this gown,” said the brunette in her post, which has stockpiled a staggering 3.1 million views. “One of the workers from the venue came to my fiancé and asked if [Kaufman] was the bride.” 

“There were multiple people that confused this lady with the bride,” Drobach continued, adding that the mother-of-the-bride and another guest, too, wore white dresses, but singled Kaufman’s attire out as the most inappropriate. “From far away, she looked like a bride.” 

Drobach went on to claim that the bride, with whom she’s been friends for nearly a decade, was dismayed over Kaufman’s questionable couture — and even expressed upset to the groom.

However, the couple, as well as their guests, ultimately opted not to make a fuss over the outfit in an effort to enjoy a peaceful ceremony.

But when the groom got wind of Drobach’s TikTok post about the dress, he allegedly threatened her in a series of “nasty” correspondences. 

“He sent me three voice messages with direct threats — like, absolutely disgusting, nasty messages,” she said before vowing to “take care of” the vitriol. 

But when it came to Kaufman — who proudly identified herself as the “Girl in the white dress” and explained why she chose to sport the taboo hue on her own TikTok account — Drobach insisted that her video wasn’t meant to cause the blond any harm. 

“I never planned to offend this lady or disrespect her,” said Drobach. “She did get a lot of hate … but she does not deserve being hated so much.”

In her own defense, Kaufman shared a snippet of herself in the controversial garb, saying, “I just picked white from four dress code colors,” indicating that the bride and groom allegedly earmarked “white” as an approved color to wear for their holy matrimony. 

And while a few viewers seemed to be on her side, noting that the bride greenlit white as a welcomed color, virtual vultures in Kaufman’s comments section weren’t buying it. 

“You knew what you were doing,” scolded a critic. 

“I just wanna know what did the bride ever do to you?” barked another incensed onlooker. 

An equally white-hot hater wrote, “You’re literally psycho.”
