I love being pregnant so much, I’m renting out my womb for $40K

An Atlanta mom has revealed that she enjoys being pregnant so much that she is now leasing out her womb to prospective parents — for a substantial $40,000 fee.

Yessenia Latorre, 26, has delivered three babies so far, two of which were her own and one as a surrogate.

While Latorre is hoping to grow her family when she is ready, for now, she is renting out her womb to help others who can’t get pregnant.

“I am planning to be a surrogate again very soon; I can’t wait to do this again,” Latorre told NeedtoKnow.co.uk.

Latorre has been sharing her journey online with her 222,700 TikTok followers and has become a resource for hopeful parents seeking a surrogate.

Hundreds of women have reached out to Latorre for advice on how to become a surrogate and over 100 families have reached out in the hopes that she can make their dreams of starting a family come true.

As for the pricey fee of $40,000, Latorre wishes that “people understood that most surrogates are not in it for the money” and that she sees “the money as being a bonus to changing a family’s life in a priceless way.”

“Family is something really important to me and I’m proud of what I have done,” she said.

Latorre had her first child, Tyson, in 2017 and immediately fell in love with the experience of being pregnant.

“I really love everything about pregnancy. I enjoy having a baby bump, going to doctors’ appointments, feeling baby kicks,” she gushed.

“After I had my son, I was very happy with the family I had, but I would always feel like I wanted to be pregnant again.”

While she got pregnant shortly after in 2018, Latorre suffered a miscarriage after five weeks, a painful experience that inspired her to become a surrogate for others who struggle to carry children of their own.

“I wanted to become a surrogate mostly because of my previous miscarriage … I was devastated. It changed my life forever; I was so alone,” Latorre shared. “I was so hopeless, but at the same time, I felt grateful to even have one child because so many people cannot conceive.”

In October 2019, Latorre gave birth to her second son, Trey Junior, but immediately yearned for the feeling of being pregnant again.

“After I was done breastfeeding my son, I was ready to help another family right away,” she said.

“I felt like I wanted to give back to others. I wanted to work with a family that wanted a relationship with me and will allow me to see the baby in the future — that was very important to me. I also wanted to help a mother that couldn’t have a child.”

Latorre said she signed up with a surrogacy agency, which matched her with the type of families she was looking for and started her first surrogacy process in October 2021.

To prepare for the surrogacy process, Latorre said she underwent a psychological evaluation, a medical screening, a series of ultrasounds and blood tests and a month of medications before the embryo transfer.

Latorre says she felt extremely supported through the entire experience.

“Everyone was proud of me in the end. The support was overwhelming at times.”

In addition to payments for medication, the embryo transfer and an allowance for maternity clothes, Latorre made $40,000 as a first-time surrogate.

Parents typically pay between $100,000 and $200,000 for the surrogacy process.

Finally, in February 2023, Latorre gave birth to a healthy baby boy, saying, “I did not find it difficult to give the family their baby. I was so happy to have done this for them.”

“I will be able to see him in the future, and his mom sends me pictures of him every week. It really makes me happy.”
