A so-called “momfluencer” hilariously trolled her son while helping him move into his college dorm — decorating his room with a life-size poster board of herself so “if any girls try to come into your room they can see me,” she quipped in a now-viral TikTok video.
Jill Wagner pulled off the stunt after she fulfilled her kid’s request to bring posters to his new dorm room at Maryville University in Missouri.
Her son, Hakin, was left stunned when he walked into his room and found the poster board of his mother front and center.
“Get this thing out,” Hakin demanded in disbelief.
“Honey, I know you’re gonna miss me so much I got a life-size picture of me for your dorm,” replied Jill, who has close to 2 million followers on TikTok.
As the shock began to fade, Hakin then looked around the cramped space to see where he might be able to hide the massive cardboard cutout.
“It’s so perfect,” Jill said with joy. “That way, if any girls try to come in your room they can see me.”
“That is so embarrassing,” he said after she continued to hysterically laugh.
Hakin’s parents also printed out a smaller poster that they hung above his laundry hamper in the dorm of his father pointing to a hamper on the ground in a photo.
Jill has extensively chronicled her life as a mother on social media, including how Hakin joined her family as a preteen.
Hakin told Insider his parents are “full of crazy shenanigans” and “always doing something that’s extravagant.”
“I appreciate the gesture, you know, because she brought me in at a young age and has taken care of me all my life, and she never wants to leave me because I was the last child to leave,” Hakin said of his mother.
“She just wanted to be a part of my college experience as much as she can.”
