Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ widow posted a heartbreaking message to honor him on what would have been his 41st birthday.
On Friday, Allison Holker, 35, posted an Instagram photo of herself and their three kids, Weslie, 15, Maddox, 7, and Zaia, 3, gathered around Boss’ grave.
She captioned it, “We honor our beautiful, sweet, kind and loving Stephen tWitch Laurel Boss. Forever on our hearts and minds carrying us, guiding us and lifting us. We feel your presence every day and will forever be grateful for the beautiful times we shared together. We feel your arms wrapping around us and holding us up on this day. Happy birthday my love @sir_twitch_alot.”
Boss died by suicide at age 40 in December of 2022. He was known as the former “Ellen DeGeneres Show” DJ (from 2014-2022) and he placed as a runner-up on “So You Think You Can Dance” in 2008.
He also hosted various shows, such as the Fox dance competition show “The Real Dirty Dancing,” which celebrated the Patrick Swayze movie. Speaking to The Post before his death, Boss said, “I started dancing somewhat late. I didn’t grow up dancing in the studio and taking dance lessons like that. So, when I found ‘Dirty Dancing,’ which was well into my college career, seeing the machismo and the masculine energy that Swayze brought, I just found it incredibly inspiring. I feel like I carry a little bit of that around with me; the confidence he used.”
After his tragic death, his longtime boss Ellen De Generes, 65, posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, “I’m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children — Weslie, Maddox and Zaia.”
After first meeting at a mutual friend’s party in 2006, Boss married Holker, a fellow alum of “So You Think You Can Dance,” in 2013. (Holker had Weslie before her relationship with Boss, and Boss adopted her.)
In Holker’s Instagram post Friday, photos show her with their three kids, leaving flowers on his grave, smiling. Another photo shows the family together with Boss before his tragic death.
Holker finished her Instagram caption by calling Boss’ birthday, “A day we will always celebrate the gift you were and still are to this world. We love you!”
