Here’s how to get last-minute Yeah Yeah Yeahs tickets

Karen O

For just one week, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are on the road.

From Nov. 6-11, the indie rockers are playing three shows in the U.S. and Canada with special guest SASAMI in support of their 2022 album “Cool It Down.”

First up, Karen O and co. will drop into Boston, MA’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway for a set on Monday, Nov. 6.

After that, the “Maps” band hits Philadelphia’s The Met on Wednesday, Nov. 8 and Toronto’s History on Saturday, Nov. 11.

Then, that’s it for the year (the band had a quick 13-concert North American run this past spring, too).

According to the band’s official Instagram, these three locales were chosen because they are “cities (that) have a long history for YYYs!!”

And if you want to go, tickets are available for the trio of gigs.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats was $42 before fees on Vivid Seats.

The other shows have tickets starting anywhere from $51 to $197 before fees.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs new music

he group’s 2022 “Cool It Down” is eight tracks of exquisitely-crafted rock and roll.

Both lush and heavy, airy and meaningful, the record is a true balancing act of magnificent contradictions.

We recommend starting with the hypnotic opening track “Spitting Off The Edge Of The World” and then try the ethereal, erotic “Lovebomb” and finally the urgent, almost Motown-inspired “Burning.”

Really you can’t go wrong with any song on the album though.

You can listen to all 32 minutes and 28 seconds of “Cool It Down” here.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs special guest

At all three shows, O, Nick Zinner and Brian Chase will be joined by SASAMI.

The indie rocker, formerly of Cherry Glazerr, has a low-key, melancholy sound that pairs well with Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ quieter moments.

Our staff was wowed by her meditative “Turned Out I Was Everyone” and jangly “Not The Time.”

Really though, we fell in love with the intimate yet explosive “Take Care.”
