One of comedy’s most controversial figures is taking center stage on Saturday, Feb. 24.
Shane Gillis, who was hired and then quickly fired from NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” in 2019 for racist, homophobic, anti-Semitic and transphobic remarks on his podcast, will host the long-running sketch show with musical guest 21 Savage.
And, while the 36-year-old claims to have learned from his “offensive, hurtful, and unacceptable” on-air slurs, he continues to work cruel stereotypes into his material according to the Los Angeles Times.
Still, his stand-up comedy and podcast have thrived post-firing; Gillis became particularly popular with conservative and anti-woke audiences after being let go.
Now, he’s midway through a nationwide tour which includes three shows at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall on March 1-2.
As of now, demand seems quite high for his live shows; at the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any single gig was $51 before fees on Vivid Seats.
Other shows have seats starting anywhere from $60 to $267 before fees.
All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.
