This cinematic nugget is pure comic gold.

Netflix has released the first trailer for an upcoming comedy series in which a woman is accidentally turned into a chicken nugget.

“A woman steps into an odd machine and becomes… a chicken nugget,” reads the South Korea-produced show’s synopsis on Netflix’s site. “Now, it’s up to her father and admirer to embark on a zany quest to bring her back.”

Netflix released a bizarre trailer Thursday for an upcoming South Korean TV show where a woman is accidentally turned into a chicken nugget. Netflix

The show, which is expected to hit the streaming site on March 15, currently stars Ryu Seung-ryong, Ahn Jae-hong and Kim You-jung.

Netflix’s protein-based comedy will also be directed by Lee Byeong-Heon, whose 2019 film “Extreme Job” also focused on chicken.

Based on the trailer, which in and of itself is an experience, the show will feature several crazy moments featuring both Seung-ryong, 53, and Jae-hong, 37, as they attempt to save Choi Min-ah ( Kim You-jung,24,) from living the rest of her life as a piece of poultry.

The film — aptly named “Chicken Nugget” — is based on a webtoon of the same name that originally aired for 47 episodes in South Korea in September 2019 and concluded its brief run in August 2020.

Despite the crazy trailer, several people seemed excited about the upcoming show.

“I never knew I needed a movie about someone turning into a chicken nugget until now,” one fan commented on the YouTube page. “Can’t wait to see this in the cinemas.”

“Chicken Nugget sounds like a story your friend would tell you about after a day of edibles,” a second person commented. “The fact that this premise got A-list comedians and Lee Byeong-heon directing is another reason I love cinema.”

“This feels like a fever dream,” a third person commented. Garage Lab/Netflix

“This feels like a fever dream,” a third person commented.

“Finally, a movie worth watching,” quipped a fourth.

Several other users joked that a clip used in the thumbnail of the video led them to believe that the singer Ice Spice was also in the film.

Even though several viewers seemed excited about the series, several people seemed to be put off by the upcoming show.

“I actively lost brain cells from watching this,” sneered a user.

“It’s official, they’ll make movies out of anything,” chided a second.

“Well, I mean, it’s different. Original. I can’t say I ever watched anything like this before,” a third admitted.
