Waited till the last minute to “Check Yes or No” on George Strait tickets?
Not a problem.
The 71-year-old country legend will be stomping down to Rutherford, NJ’s MetLife Stadium on Saturday, June 8 to deliver the fifth installment of his annual ten-concert, cross-country series after he announced his retirement from touring once his final “The Cowboy Rides Away Tour” concluded a decade ago.
At this particular show, third concourse tickets start at $71 before fees on Vivid Seats and climb up to $568 for prime viewing at the time of publication.
While that may sound pricey, Strait’s Garden State gig — which has the cheapest tickets available of any of his remaining 2024 concerts — will surely be a treat for fans based on what we’ve seen of his shows on Instagram.
Better yet, Strait’s bringing a few friends along for the ride as well. Before he takes the stage, ten-time Grammy Award winner Chris Stapleton and the trailblazing vocal band, Little Big Town will open the show for Strait.
As for what to expect from “The King,” the star often cranks out dozens of his chart-topping tunes including “All My Ex’s Live In Texas,” “Check Yes Or No,” “Amarillo By Morning,” “Carrying Your Love With Me,” along with many more singalong hits, based on our findings at Set List FM.
Clearly, you’ll want to make this show a priority. As Strait says — “I ain’t here for a long time, I’m here for a good time.”
