Will Compton must have been on the B-list for the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift wedding.
This weekend’s extravaganza at Madison Square Garden featured roughly 1,000 guests for the wedding between the Chiefs tight end and the music superstar, with some people scratching their heads over the guest list, including former NFL player and podcast host Will Compton.
“I’m going to be honest, I didn’t think nothing of it,” Compton said on “Wake Up Barstool” of not receiving an invitation despite not being in the country and traveling to Italy. “All of these photos I keep seeing. I see Dean Blandino got an invitation? Is that real?”
Upon getting confirmation from Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, Compton admitted that he thinks he should have been invited over him considering he’s known Kelce since his time in the NFL as a nine year veteran linebacker.
“As I’ve been seeing the photos of everybody else at that wedding, I’m kind of flabbergasted I didn’t get that invite,” Compton said to Portnoy, who called the situation “stunning.”
Blandino is the former NFL Vice President of Officiating and now a rules analyst for Fox Sports, who usually lends his two cents on reviews and gives his opinion on the league’s rules on the football field.
Other guests included Mike Vrabel and his wife Jen, as well as musician Machine Gun Kelly, and actor Jason Sudeikis.
“Everybody at Tight U went and got invited,” Portnoy added.
Tight End University is an event hosted in Nashville, Tenn. that acts as an offseason summit for retired players and both professional and collegiate players to get some reps which had Kelce present as well as George Kittle much more this year.
Kelce, Kittle and Greg Olsen, who turned to broadcasting after his NFL retirement, founded the offseason program.
Compton was also present at the TEU event, along with Taylor Lewan, his longtime podcast partner on “Bussin’ With The Boys.”
Although that apparently wasn’t enough to score an invite to the exclusive event.
