Actress Susan Lucci was elated to be seated next to Yankees first baseman Ben Rice at the 2026 U.S. Open on Monday.
The longtime “All My Children” actress, who is a known Yankees fan, was seen taking a selfie of the pair on her phone while in the president’s box as No. 1 Alexander Zverev beat No. 21 Luciano Darderi in straight sets 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Rice attended the U.S. Open with his girlfriend, Sara Falkson.
Yankees left fielder Cody Bellinger and his wife, model Chase Carter Bellinger, sat next to Rice and Falkson in the box.
Taking to her Instagram, Lucci shared a smiling photo of her and author Laura Morton sitting with Rice and Falkson.
“Such a picture perfect evening last night at the @usopen with my good friend and NYT best selling author @lmortongac !!!” Lucci wrote on Tuesday.
“We had the best seats, watched great tennis—and sat next to Yankee first baseman Ben Rice! 👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽”.
Last month, Lucci, who is a New York native, shared a snapshot of her sporting a Yankees hat while taking in a game at Yankee Stadium.
She also supported the Knicks during their championship run in June.
