A hilarious, cringe-worthy toast thanking thousands of online subscribers topped the list of speeches at the Gold Coast wedding of OnlyFans creator Annie Knight to Henry Brayshaw over the weekend.
The lavish $180,000 affair saw the high-earning adult content creator say “I do” to her long-time partner in front of 72 close friends and family members.
But it was a cheeky moment during the reception toasts that left guests squirming in their seats.
“Thanks to the 30,000 sad, lonely men that paid for all this,” one person joked to the crowd, acknowledging the online fanbase that helped foot the bill for the high-lux nuptials.
The lighthearted jab didn’t take away from what Knight described as a dream weekend, complete with custom fashion, emotional vows, and a heavy dose of Taylor Swift.
Standing at the aisle
Despite months of meticulous preparation, Knight revealed that her absolute highlight was the raw, emotional moment she stood opposite Brayshaw at the altar.
“It’s hard to pick a favorite moment because everything went so perfectly,” Knight shared with news.com.au.
“It was better than I could ever have imagined, but the feeling I had standing at the end of the aisle with Henry is so hard to put into words.
“It’s a moment I’ll relive in my mind forever. Staring into his eyes as we read our personalized vows together felt so intimate. I have never felt so calm or certain of anything in my life.”
Having loved ones travel from all over the world added to the magic of the weekend.
“We had 72 people there in total, and a lot of them flew from overseas or interstate just to celebrate the weekend with us,” Knight explained.
“Every single person there had so much love and support for both of us, and every guest said you could feel it in the room.”
The $5,000 wedding dress
While many brides spend months searching for a gown, Knight’s path to finding the perfect dress came with an unexpected change of heart.
She revealed her dress cost $5,000 (roughly $3,482 USD), but she originally had her eye on a “more expensive dress,” but changed her mind after she realized she didn’t love it as much as she thought.
“When I walked out in the dress I ended up choosing, everyone was speechless. It felt timeless, flattering and so me. I knew it was perfect,” Knight claimed.
The transformation took a full morning of prep. Starting at 7:00 a.m., a party of eight — including the bride, her five bridesmaids, her mom, and the groom’s mom — spent six and a half hours getting hair and makeup done before the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
What’s next for the couple?
Despite tying the knot, Knight says taking on the title of “wife” hasn’t shifted their day-to-day dynamic, though she loves the new label.
“Henry and I have always felt married. It has always been so easy between us, so it just feels normal and natural. I do really love calling him my husband though,” she shared.
The couple is now packing their bags for a five-star honeymoon in Asia to switch off after 18 months of intensive wedding planning.
“We’re going to a beautiful destination in Asia that neither of us has ever been to before,” Knight revealed.
“We’re staying at a five-star hotel, and the plan is basically no working, spas, massages, sleep-ins, tanning, swimming, and eating everything in sight.
“It’s just the two of us, and we really want it to be the ultimate zen holiday where we can finally relax and enjoy being married.”
