Late Manolo exec’s ‘Majestic’ penthouse gets massive $5M price slash

If the shoe fits, buy it!

A grand 18th-floor penthouse at the Majestic, one of the Upper West Side’s legendary Art Deco buildings, is on the market for $19.95 million — following a price slash from its original $25 million ask.

The apartment, a two-unit combo at 115 Central Park West, boasts four bluestone terraces and stunning views of Central Park.

It was home to the late footwear exec George Malkemus and his husband and business partner, Anthony Yurgaitis, who ran the Manolo Blahnik brand for 37 years and helped Sarah Jessica Parker (known for her spiky Manolos on “Sex and the City”) create her own eponymous shoe line.

The penthouse’s perks include a private elevator and foyer, an open living room with a decorative fireplace and a library with French doors that open to the terrace, not to mention a formal dining room, an eat-in chef’s kitchen, two marble baths and those four terraces (totaling 850 square feet).

The building has quite the history. Past residents have included Conan O’Brien, Marc Jacobs, Milton Berle, Jimmy Durante and the late mob boss Frank Costello, who once headed the notorious Luciano crime family. In 2006, hotelier and Studio 54 founder Ian Schrager sold his unit to Susan Weber, an ex-wife of billionaire George Soros, for $25 million. She then tried to sell it for $50 million. (Although she later reduced the price, it never sold.)

The listing brokers are Chase Landow, of Serhant., and John Burger, of Brown Harris Stevens.

Yurgaitis, meanwhile, is now spending most of his time at Arethusa Farm, a 300-acre dairy farm in Litchfield, Conn., which the couple bought in 1999, according to reports.
