A man was left blushing when he discovered a raunchy message inscribed inside of a book he found at a local thrift store.
Ché Moore was browsing through the goods at the Sue Ryder Wellington charity shop in Somerset, England when he stumbled upon the explicit message left presumably from one love to another.
Nikolas, who signed the note, apparently didn’t want to leave his lover Jane without some erotic fun while they were apart.
“This is for you to read when my tongue and my pleasure stick are not there for you,” the note scribbled on the inside of a Tiffany Reisz Harlequin novel read.
Moore shared a photo of the message on Facebook blurring out some words to keep his post G-rated. “An unexpected dedication in this racy novel i unearthed,” he captioned the post.
Several commenters noted that Moore’s post was not the first time that they’d seen a picture of the book and its special message shared online.
Louise Weston shared a photo of the same exact inscription, possibly from the same book, that was found in a shop in Lewes — about a three hour drive from the shop where Moore was shopping.
“My god Jane and Nicholas don’t half get around I wonder if he’s got a woman in every county?” she joked.
Others replied to the post finding it all too funny.
“This is a latter day sex text,” Kate Botham replied.
“I love it, it’s hilarious and so corny. Gave me a proper giggle. Nicholas you naughty boy,” Janina Fox-Westell admitted.
“Nicholas sounds like a keeper,” Maria Felicidad McMenemy quipped.
But some were very turned off by the provocative note. “That’s enough to put me off men forever,” Lauren Amber declared.
The shockingly sexy scribbles aren’t the most outrageous findings that shoppers have discovered while sorting through second hand goods.
People around the world have taken to social media to share their surprising finds from wads of cash to a $3.75 wedding dress.
