Everyone’s favorite CIA analyst with two first names is back: “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” season three is here.
The Jack-Ryanverse has withstood quite a few recasting over the course of its now 30+ years long film career (did you know that Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck, and Chris Pine have all portrayed Mr. Ryan?), nevertheless John Krasinski has seemingly no plans to give up the role.
Season 3 finds Krasinski, as Ryan, doing what he does best: going rogue, uncovering vast conspiracies, and miraculously evading certain death. It’s all in a days work for Ryan, a formerly desk-bound CIA analyst forced into the field in Season 1, after uncovering a money-laundering operation fronted by an Islamic extremists.
After spending last season sorting out American intervention in Venezuela once and for all, Season 3 finds Ryan stationed in Rome, before getting himself involved in a timely plot: attempting to foil Russia’s plans to invade surrounding countries and recreate the Soviet Empire.
We can’t promise a cameo from Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, but anything can happen in the high-octane world of Jack Ryan. Below, we highlight how, when, and why to watch “Jack Ryan” Season 3 on Amazon Prime Video.

When can I watch “Jack Ryan” Season 3?
Not one, not two, but all eight episodes of “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” Season 3 are available to stream right now on Prime Video, alongside the 16 episodes and escapades that make up the first two seasons of “Jack Ryan.” What says Christmas more than John Krasinski running from gunfire?
What is “Jack Ryan” Season 3 about?
After saving the world twice, Krasinski’s “Jack Ryan” returns for a hat trick in Season 3, attempting to do singlehandedly what the US Government has been trying to do since the end of the second World War: curtail Soviet influence and manage the growth of the Soviet Empire.
In a twist atypical of the genre (wink), Ryan is cut off from his CIA contacts after he’s accused of treason after an intel mission ends poorly. Can Ryan save Russia’s borders from invasion, as he’s on the run (and presumably, not earning a paycheck) from his closest allies?
There’s only one way to find out: tune into “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” Season 3; all episodes streaming now on Amazon Prime Video.
