The question of whether Captain America was a virgin has been one of the major debates among fans of the MCU, and, thanks in large part to Marvel chief Kevin Feige, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has finally given some take on her love life. helped shed light. the first Avenger.
In the first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters and Mark Ruffalo’s Dr. Bruce Banner are in a car and they begin discussing Cap’s virginity question. Walters makes a case that, because of his habit of always saving the world from freezes before and after, he never had time to lose his virginity.
After initially refusing to discuss his friend’s love life, Banner eventually revealed that “Steve Rogers is not a virgin. He lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 while on the USO tour.”
As reported by THR, She-Hulk showrunner Jessica Gao was talking to io9 when she shared that Feige was there to explore the question and finally put the debate to the proverbial bed.
Gao said, “Kevin was really into that joke and he was really the one who volunteered to answer that question. I can’t believe we’re definitely going to have to settle that issue forever.”
Gao also talked about how the writing team’s philosophy at She-Hulk was not only to explore the themes MCU fans were trying to answer, but also to apologize and set boundaries as opposed to permission. It was to proceed as to which questions could be dealt with.
Gao said, “Our philosophy was exactly what we do until they tell us we can’t because if you start asking for too many permissions, you’re going to have a chance to say no to people.” giving.”
Although he didn’t reveal the answer, Captain America actor Chris Evans spoke on the subject with Vanity Fair in 2014, saying, “Cap keeps what he wants last.
