Asake has had a big decade.

In 2020, he won Break Out Artist of the Year at the All Africa Music Awards. Two years later, his debut album “Mr. Money with the Vibe” broke the record for biggest opening day for an African album on Apple Music as of 2022. Then, in 2023, he received his first Grammy nomination for “Amapiano.”

Now, he’s striking out on a world tour.

From June through October, the 29-year-old Afrobeats icon will play arenas and festivals all over the globe as part of his ‘Lungu Boy World Tour.’

Midway through the multinational run, the “Bandana” singer will close the U.S. leg of his tour at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Friday, Aug. 30.
