Cara Delevingne’s friends have grown so concerned for her that they are “desperate” for her to go to rehab, TMZ reported on Friday.
Sources told the outlet that the supermodel’s pals are worried she is struggling with a combination of mental health and substance abuse issues.
Reps for Delevingne have not returned Page Six’s multiple requests for comment.
Earlier this week, the “Suicide Squad” star’s friend and co-star Margot Robbie was seen leaving the model’s Los Angeles home looking distressed.
Reps for Robbie, 32, have not commented on why she appeared so upset, but the photos of the actress in tears sparked speculation that there were serious issues going on with Delevingne, 30.
An insider told TMZ Friday that Robbie was visibly distraught with “good reason” over what she allegedly saw at her friend’s home.
The outlet also claims the “Barbie” star is one of the friends “advocating” for Delevingne to enter a treatment program.
Delevingne has not confirmed if she is battling addiction and has only confessed to dabbling with drugs in the past. However, the “Paper Town” star’s behavior in recent months has sparked concern.
In March, she was first seen acting “really drunk” at a party in New York, which earned her the reputation of a party girl.
Most recently, she looked disheveled and exhibited erratic behavior while at Van Nuys Airport in California, and was even a no-show at a New York Fashion Week event she was expected to attend.
A close friend of Delevingne told the Sun last week that they are all “incredibly concerned.”
“There is talk of staging some kind of intervention and making sure Cara gets the help she may well need,” the insider said.
“She has been burning the candle at both ends of late, and it’s clearly taking its toll.”
