My wife-to-be asked for a ‘hall pass’ to have sex with other men before our wedding — do I end the engagement?

To have and to hold — a grudge for the rest of his life.

An engaged man says he is feeling “blindsided” after his fiancée asked for a “hall pass” to have sex with other men before they tie the knot next month.

Taking to Reddit with the conundrum on Monday, the 28-year-old man admitted that he’s unsure whether he should call off the wedding in the wake of the bride-to-be’s bawdy proposal.

“It seemed like everything was great and mutual,” the man wrote of his 29-year-old ladylove of four years. “This stupid idea of hers completely blindsided me. I could tell that she had been thinking about it for some time, and just waiting for the perfect moment to bring it up.”

Adding insult to injury, the fiancée claims her adulterous idea is a “healthy” way to go into wedlock.

“She also claimed it would help get everything out of our systems,” the man added. “In the four years we’ve been together I’ve never thought about being with someone else, but it just sucks to know she doesn’t feel the same way.”

“I’m not sure if she has a guy in mind or just wants a one night stand it,” he further admitted.

After expressing his disdain, the bride-to-be tried walking back the idea. However, the damage was already done as he gave her the cold shoulder.

Now bogged down by feelings of “betrayal, the engaged man is unsure their relationship is on thin ice.

“Outside of the emotional pain, we’ve been living together for two years. We have a whole wedding planned with people coming for us,” he wrote.

“I’d like to try and work this out, and maybe I’m just overreacting. My friends think I need to cut my losses and move on.”

He sought the thoughts of neutral parties online, and the consensus was to get out while he still could.

“Your friends are right, cancel the wedding, tell everyone why, cut your losses and move on,” one commented. “Breakups and canceling weddings are not fun to deal with, divorce and sharing child custody is much worse.”

“Free passes are like potato chips you can never have just one,” added another. “Ending the relationship before the wedding may be inconvenient but it will be way better than getting a divorce on the future.”

“End it, and walk away. She killed any and all trust in the relationship. No trust, no relationship,” a third advised.
