Chrissy Teigen sported a neck brace ahead of the 2024 Met Gala on Monday — and opened up about her injury via Instagram Story.
“@ the Met,” she wrote over the photo.
“I tried to do a headstand,” she went on in a separate Story.
Teigen didn’t go into more detail, but did appear to be wearing a full face of makeup as she rested on a couch.
This year’s Met Gala co-chairs include Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth.
Earlier in the day, the model also shared a text she sent to her doctor. “I couldn’t take my blood test because I had eaten bacon wrapped dates,” she noted to her 42 million followers. “My doctor has had it with me.”
It’s unclear if the Cravings author and her husband, John Legend, will be stepping out for the biggest fashion night of the year in New York City for its theme, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” However, Teigen was photographed in the Big Apple on May 3.
One day earlier, they also made it a date night at the King’s Trust Global Gala hosted by Global Ambassadors Lionel Richie and Edward Enninful OBE. Teigen opted for a sleeveless, shimmering black gown with intricate lace detailing at the time. She accessorized with statement earrings.
Teigen and the musician met in 2009 on the set of his “Stereo” music video. They married in 2013 and share four children — daughter Luna Simone, 8, son Miles Theodore, 5, daughter Esti Maxine, 15 months, and son Wren Alexander, 10 months.
