Crazy Town frontman Shifty Shellshock posted several cryptic messages on social media two months before his death.

In late April, the musician — who died Monday at 49 after battling addiction for most of his life — alluded to his personal struggles in what wound up being his final Instagram posts before his death.

One post from April 28 featured the message, “The black sheep, the odd ducks, the rejects, the eccentrics, the loners, the lost and forgotten. More often than not, these people have the most beautiful souls.”

In another Instagram, Shellshock shared a photo of the words “True Love Long Beach” written on the ground with hearts, as well as pink flower petals. His caption read, “I’m a lover than a fighter …but the one I need to love more Instead of fight with is myself .. mr shifty true Love # Sober alive and grateful.”

That same day, the “Butterfly” singer posted a picture of a man dressed in all black, including a mask, surrounded by men in all white. It said on the top of the photo, “Real is rare, fake is everywhere.”

In his caption, Shellshock wrote, “To the ones who stay even when I try my hardest to scare the away 🖤.”

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed that Shellshock (real name Seth Binzer) died at his home on June 24.

The cause of death remains unconfirmed.

Shellshock, who co-founded Crazy Town in 1995, was open about his struggles with addiction.

He was on “Celebrity Rehab” twice and went on to also appear on its follow-up show, “Sober House,” two times.

In 2012, the rapper was admitted to the hospital after losing consciousness and fell into a coma before recovering. Later that year, he was reportedly arrested for battery and cocaine possession and was sentenced to three years probation, according to Variety.

His rep told TMZ at the time, “Seth has completely changed his life around and has checked into a highly regarded drug and alcohol treatment center where he will be working with them to restructure his life over the next 2 years.”

Shellshock was arrested for a DUI in Los Angeles in 2022. He got another DUI in Myrtle Beach in April 2023, according to TMZ.

The “Revolving Door” singer opened up about his addiction battle on the Punk Rock MBA Podcast last year.

“I think I was too wild to stick around for a long time,” he said at the time. “I managed to live through a lot of crazy shit, and got to the point where I was like, ‘I’d like to live.’ “

He added, “That’s a whole new way of live that you have to slowly teach yourself. To do it correctly, you’ve got to do more than just want it. Everyday now is just about finding inner peace and taking care of yourself.”
