Did Megan Thee Stallion yell at Justin Timberlake backstage at the VMAs?

When “Cry Me a River” met “Savage.”

An exchange between Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake backstage at Tuesday’s 2023 MTV Video Music Awards has gone viral.

A behind-the-scenes clip making its rounds on X, the platform previously known as Twitter, showed all five members of NSYNC — who reunited onstage at the show — walking past the “WAP” rapper while she was getting glammed up.

Timberlake appeared to lean in to say something to Megan, and she waved her finger in response.

Joey Fatone appeared to say something to Megan, too.

However, a source reportedly told Variety that there was “zero fight” between the parties.

NSYNC member Joey Fatone also said something to the “Savage” rapper.

“He [Timberlake] said, ‘It’s so nice to meet you,’ and she said ‘No, no this don’t count, this don’t count. We gotta meet proper.’”

“It was very cute,” the source added.

The Post has contacted reps for Megan, Timberlake and Fatone for comment.

Nonetheless, fans on X begged to know more details about the viral interaction.

“What could they be arguing about lmfaooo,” one viewer questioned.

“Justin and Megan arguing may be the most random thing that I have heard all year maybe it is not how it appears,” a second wrote.

“She’s BSB gang and let him know,” another joked, referencing NSYNC’s former rival group Backstreet Boys.
