A quick cat can leave you both terrified and hysterical at the same time.
During the Arizona Diamondbacks’ 6-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Friday, a loose cat scurried across the dirt, jumped into the stands and startled two women.
Those two women were Emily Edwards and Kierra Fletcher, respectively the fiancée and wife to MLB players and siblings Dominic and David Fletcher.
The two were there supporting their partners as it was the first time in their MLB careers that the two brothers suited up against one another.
Edwards was startled by the cat and screamed while Fletcher was also shocked, but her surprise soon turned into laughter at the plight of her soon-to-be sister-in-law.
Dominic, the younger of the Fletcher brothers, was able to get the last laugh of the night with his team’s win.
The Diamondbacks outfielder, 25, also had a base hit.
Dominic has also outshined David, 29, at the plate this season as well.
Dominic has a .303 batting average on the year with two home runs and 14 RBIs through 25 games.
David is hitting .220 with one home run and seven RBIs.
Dominic has been making moves off the field as well.
Dominic and Emily were together for nearly four and a half years before he popped the question during a trip to Rome in November 2022.
The couple celebrated five years together in June with the wedding still on the horizon.
