There’s always room for one more.

Cary Grant‘s ex-wife, ’70s star Dyan Cannon, revealed that her love life is booming at age 88.

“Of course,” the actress told People at the 10th Annual Hollywood Beauty Awards when they asked if she was dating.

Although Cannon didn’t divulge too many details, she did label the person as “somebody very special,” before adding, “Several special [people]. … I have friends with benefits, yes.”

The “Boynton Beach Club” star has been married twice, first to the “Charade” alum, who died in 1986 at age 82.

Cannon met Grant when she was just 25 and he was 58 in 1961. The couple married in 1965, when the movie star was 61 and the young actress was 28.

The pair welcomed daughter Jennifer a year later in 1966. However, by 1967, Cannon filed for divorce from Grant.

In the ’80s, Cannon tied the knot again, marrying real estate investor Stanley Fimberg in 1985 before the two split in 1991.

In 2023, Cannon took a moment to reflect on her romance with Grant while on KTLA.

“He’s so charming and so attractive,” she reminisced on how the late icon won her over despite being 33 years her senior. “Like being hit by a stun gun to meet him. He had a presence about him that was unlike anyone I had ever met.”

“There has never been anyone like him,” Cannon noted.

She did admit, though, that the age gap was an issue between the two. As the “Heaven Can Wait” vet put it, “He’s older than my father.”

Cannon quipped, “But my mother fell in love with him, so that helped.”

“I have to tell you he was sweet. He was very sweet,” she gushed.

In honor of Grant, Cannon created the miniseries “Archie” in 2023, which is a four-part drama about the late star.

“What I want people to remember is the many, many years of amazing entertainment and inspiration and laughter that he gave us, truly,” Cannon expressed while on the news broadcast. “We divorced and it took me a lot of years to heal from it. But because I’ve healed, I can love him again.”

Grant was previously married three times prior to Cannon: first to actress Virginia Cherrill from 1934 to 1935, before finding love with philanthropist Barbara Hutton for three years from 1942 to 1945.

He then tied the knot with actress Betsy Drake in 1949, divorcing her only three years before meeting Cannon in 1965.

In Cannon’s 2012 memoir “Dear Cary, My Life With Cary Grant,” the star got candid about their divorce.

“I never knew what was going to set him off next, and when he wasn’t at work, he trailed me around the house, listing my shortcomings,” she penned. “I didn’t place a coaster under my water glass. I parked my car in the driveway crookedly. I shouldn’t be so friendly to the postman because he might get the wrong idea or to the maid because it was good to keep a distance.”

Writing about their daughter Jennifer, now 59, Cannon explained: “The first and most important thing is that I instilled in Jennifer that the divorce was not her fault. What was going on was between me and her daddy, not between us and her. We both loved her dearly, and it was OK for her to love us both.”

After Grant split from Cannon, he married Barbara Harris when he was 77 and she was 30.

”We’re marvelously happy,” Grant revealed at the time. ”Jennifer loves the idea. She and Barbara have become quite close.”

The spouses remained married until Grant died from a stroke.
