Ed Sheeran is far from closing the “Loop.”

The four-time Grammy winner just kicked off his international ‘Loop Tour’ that will send him to stadiums all over North America from June through November with special guests Macklemore, Myles Smith, Lukas Graham, BIIRD, Sigrid and more joining him on select dates.

And he’s already impressing critics.

“Sheeran had no problem enthralling the audience for nearly three hours,” The Phoenix New Times wrote in a review of his June 13 concert at Glendale, AZ’s State Farm Stadium.

“It doesn’t hurt that Sheeran’s voice is such a powerful, expressive instrument,” AZ Central added. “…He sounded great, leading a stadium full of fans in one massive singalong after another while also harmonizing with himself via looping technology.”

Based on our findings at Set List FM, the 35-year-old West Yorkshire performed 28 songs at the gig including fan favorite mega-hits “Bad Habits,” “Shivers,” “Thinking Out Loud,” “Photograph” and, of course “The Shape Of You.”

If this sounds like the show for you, tickets are available for all 27 upcoming dates on the talented vocalist’s calendar.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for any one show was $64 including fees on SeatGeek.

Luckily for New Yorkers and New Jerseyans, those tickets are for Sheeran’s concert at East Rutherford, NJ’s MetLife Stadium on Friday, Sept. 4 where he’ll be joined by Macklemore, Lukas Graham, and BIIRD.

Ed Sheeran new music

On Sept. 12, 2025, Sheeran dropped his eighth album “Play.”

The extended version, which is comprised of 18 tracks, starts on a melancholy note with “Opening” before the Brit starts spitting speedy rhymes. It’s a nice fake-out indicating that won’t be a series of straight ballads but a sonically adventurous collection of tunes.

Highlights include the bouncy singalong “Sapphire,” surefire chart-topper “Azizam” (we dare you to get this one out of your head, it’s that catchy), strummy, acoustic “Problems,” soulful, Motown-esque “A Little More” and sultry club banger “Symmetry.”

Make sure to keep an eye out for “The Vow,” too. If you’re looking for a first-dance song at your wedding, this is a prime candidate. Sweet, sentimental and charming, we’d argue this is the perfect song to help kick off a marriage.
