Ex-Jets QB Mark Sanchez stabbed in Indianapolis, hospitalized with ‘critical injuries’


Former Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez was reportedly stabbed early Saturday morning in downtown Indianapolis and hospitalized with “critical injuries,” according to TMZ.

Sanchez, 38, was in the city to broadcast the Colts’ game against the Raiders for Fox on Sunday.

While it’s unclear what led to the incident, police were called around 12:30 a.m. regarding two injured people, according to TMZ.

Sanchez, the No. 5 overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, spent four seasons with the Jets before also appearing in games for Philadelphia, Dallas and Washington.
